A well organised and customised 1 or 2 day orientation, positively introducing the Employee & Family to the new location is of great benefit in assisting them to make informed choices and decisions. Major elements: City Tour, Representative Home Viewing, School Visits (for 2 day Programme), Familiarisation with: Lifestyle, Culture and Customs, Healthcare, Security, Property Market, Cost of Living, Goods and Services, Recreation, Leisure and Spouse/Partner Opportunities.
- Home Finding Programmes – 1, 2, 3 days accompanied
Targeted home finding assistance, matched to Employee needs and budget. Major Elements: Pre-Arrival Housing Information, Accompanied Home Viewing, Lease Negotiation & Documentation, Utilities, Check-In Inspection and Property Handover.
- Combined Programmes [Orientation, Home Finding, School Search and Settling-in] – 3 – 6 days accompanied
Our combined programmes support the family through every step of the Relocation, from Pre-Assignment, during their Transition, to Post Move, ensuring that every detail of the move is seamlessly planned and executed, ensuring that the Family is comfortably settled and effective in their new work and home environment as quickly as possible. Major Elements: City Orientation; Research best schooling and housing options in line with company policy; Accompanied School Visits and Home Viewing; Lease Negotiation & Documentation, Check-In Inspection; Property Readiness; Ensure Special Conditions of Lease have been met and Security Systems operational, Utilities Hook-Up, Move-In, Settling-In and On-going Support.

- Short-Term Accommodation Solutions
Suitable for Employees on short term assignments to South Africa, reducing hotel costs and enhancing productivity by sourcing and securing suitable fully furnished accommodation available for early occupation. Major Elements: Research best options and Accompanied Visits to minimum of 5 properties; Lease Negotiation & Documentation; Check-In Inspection, including Contents Inventory check; Property Handover; core Settling-In Assistance (Hook-up of Telecoms and Internet; Information on banking, insurance, goods and services).
- Settling-In Services
Post-Move support to assist the family gain local area knowledge to effectively settle and integrate into their new community. The Programme can be provided as an Add-On or Stand-Alone Service and is tailored around the Family’s specific requirements. Major Elements: Assistance with Opening a Bank Account; Car Purchase & Insurance; Appliance & Furniture Shopping; Getting Connected (Utilities, Internet, Satellite TV); Goods & Services (Domestic Help, Security Monitoring etc); Introduction to Clubs & Societies.

- Group Move Management
The relocation of a group of Employees to a new location involves different challenges and logistics to that of individual moves. Corporate Relocations has had a great deal of experience in managing large group moves, sometimes into remote locations and can provide guidance, planning, costings and solutions to meet our client’s objectives and requirements.
- Expense Management/Payment Processing Services
Specialist accounting and tracking service for the payment of Employee home related expenses while on international assignment in South Africa. Tailored to our client’s policies, allowances and accounting processes, payments on behalf of our clients can include: monthly rentals; utility costs; pool, garden and security services; other ad hoc approved costs.
- Tenancy Management
International assignments can generate complex property-related issues. Our team of professionals will serve as intermediaries between tenant and landlord, allowing your employee to focus on his/her new assignment. Tailored to our client’s requirements and including: Ongoing Maintenance Assistance, Coordination of any Necessary Repairs, Rental and Miscellaneous Payments and Financial Management.
- Property Management
For local employees on international assignments - with either vacant or tenanted properties in the home location – our Property Management Specialist will oversee the management of the property for the duration of the assignment.
- Departure Programmes
Without the proper procedures, documentation and negotiations, substantial portions of the deposits may be forfeited on lease termination. Major Elements: Notice served in line with terms of Lease, Negotiating fair dilapidation charges, including Deposit Return, Cancelling Utilities and other Home Related Contracts, Arranging Quotations for Necessary Repairs and Cleaning, Project Managing Repairs, Check-Out Inspection and Property Handover, Following up on Deposit Refunds.
